What programs are offered at The Fuqua Institute?
We offer programs for Cosmetology, Manicurists, Barber, Esthetics, Educator training, and Brush up courses. We even take on students transfers from other Beauty Schools.
How long will it take to get my license?
Obtaining a license can take anywhere from 6 months up to 2 years depending on which career you choose.
Do you offer options for Full-time & Part-time students?
Yes, We offer both options to our students. We require Full-time students to attend 30 hours/week. We require Part-time students to attend 26-30 hours per week.
How many hours does each program require for completion?
Cosmetology - 1500 hours
Cosmetology Crossover - 750 hours
Barber - 1500 hours
Barber Crossover - 750 hours
Esthetics - 750 hours
Esthetics Crossover - 350 hours
Manicurist - 650 hours
Educators - 1000 hours
Brush-Up - 300 hours
Do you offer payment plans or Financial Aid?
Yes! You can choose to make payments in full, weekly,
bi-weekly, or monthly. Whichever is most convenient for you. We are currently in the process of getting approved for financial aid so we will be offering that very soon!
When can I start?
New cycles begin every three months on the 1st Monday of that month. That's 4 opportunities every year to start at a time that works best for you and your schedule.
Are students paid for services they perform in the School's salon?
Because students are not yet licensed professionals, they cannot be paid as one under Indiana State Law. However, you do get to keep 100% of your tips that the guest provides as a thank you.
How much does each program cost?
There is a $100 Application fee for ALL programs

Cosmetology Crossover - $5,000
Barber - $10,000
Barber Crossover - $5,000
Esthetics - $7,000
Esthetics Crossover - $3,500
Manicurist - $7,000
Educators - $8,000
Brush-Up - $3,000
